Wildfire Assistant User Agreement

Introduction

Welcome to Wildfire Assistant. This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal contract between you and AuroZeon ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Wildfire Assistant application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

This Agreement incorporates our Privacy Policy by reference. If there is a conflict between this Agreement and the Privacy Policy regarding how we describe data practices, the Privacy Policy controls for privacy matters.

Privacy, AI features, and third parties

Your use of AI chat, image analysis, and certain map-related AI features may involve sending information to OpenAI, LLC as described in the Privacy Policy. In the current mobile app, those requests are sent directly from your device to OpenAI—not through an AuroZeon-hosted backend. Transmissions occur only after in-app disclosure and your affirmative consent (Agree and continue). You may review or withdraw consent using the shield control described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you submit to AI features. Do not submit health, financial, or other highly sensitive information unless you accept the risks of cloud processing and third-party terms.

Educational use and official sources

Wildfire Assistant provides preparedness tools, risk awareness, and federal perimeter context for education and planning. Evacuation orders, emergency alerts, and binding instructions are issued by your local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and public safety agencies (e.g., NFPA, USFS, FEMA, CAL FIRE where applicable). In an emergency, use official channels and call emergency services (e.g., 911 in the United States).

Risk scores are modeled estimates derived from public data and the methodology described in the app documentation. They are intended to support informed planning and situational awareness.

Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse engineer, overload, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You are responsible for your use of AI outputs and map data.

Intellectual Property

The Service, branding, and content are owned by AuroZeon or licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE OPERATION.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AUROZEON AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON RISK SCORES OR AI RESPONSES.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AuroZeon from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of this Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes

We may modify this Agreement at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
